Acting

As an actor and director, I have worked in community theater in California and Connecticut. For the past decade and a half, I have worked primarily with Flock Theatre of New London.

Favorite roles include:

  • Dolly Levi (Hello, Dolly!)

  • Lilli Vanessi (Kiss Me, Kate)

  • Carrie Snow (Carousel)

  • Beatrice (Much Ado about Nothing)

  • Lady Macbeth (Macbeth)

  • Titania (A Midsummer Night’s Dream).

In 2017 and 2018, I appeared as Mary Tyrone in Flock Theatre’s Long Day’s Journey into Night, the first full-length production mounted in the Monte Cristo Cottage. The production won a Connecticut Critics Circle Special Award for theatrical achievement and is listed on Wikipedia as a “notable production.”

Currently I am playing She/Elinor in “Frost Warnings” by Eric Peterson in a touring production directed by Gary Poe and co-starring Christie Williams.

Directing

My directing credits include:

  • As You Like It

  • Little Women (adaptation by Julie Butters)

  • Co-director, In the Next Room, or the Vibrator Play.
